Dream Matte Mousse is in noway comparable, its absolutely awful. It clogs, its too orange and it made my skin absolutely awful. Revlon on the other hand has an amazing colour range and two choices of the foundation, one for dry skin and one for oily. There's also a lot more product %26amp; coverage. yes. the coverage is AMAZING and it stays on for a max of 14 hours. Plus it matte and very very smooth looking.
Maybelline dream mousse is rubbish it goes blotchy on your face after a while.

It isn't ! i have eczema on my face and the doctor told me not to use this as i had been and it wasn't helping at all it was really bad !
I use the max factor pan stick as its great and you don't need a lot as its like a concealer too !

If you have dry skin. Don't use it! It dries up your skin like crazy! If you have oily skin i reccommend it but not for dry! A good tinted moisturizer is the Benefit Benetint lite tinted moisturizer. Get the lite cause the original is orangey. Even if you have the darkest skin get the lite.

It's not in a bottle, and not a powder, you don't need anything to apply it on, but just your fingers!
It comes in a little round tub container and your just wipe your finger and it rubs on smoothly and blends!
You can get heaps of shades to suit everyone, and its only AU$21! Not sure where you live, but I'm sure it would be around the same price!

I like it alot. it feels really light and does great coverage. and you dont have to use much, it spreads quite nicely. also, you dont need sponges or brushes to use it. it stays put really well. i use it with the dream matte mousse blusher and dream matte powder and it looks really nice and natural. the blusher is great as well, you only need to use the TINIEST amount. i mean like a rice grain amount for both cheeks.
so yeah, i say get the foundation. get the blusher and powder if you want as well.
It depends. I think it's really good, because powders are too dry for me, but regular foundation is too liquid and looks wrong on my skin. It also matches my strange half-asian skintone. One foundation might be good on one person, but be wrong on another for various reasons. It would be best to test it first. If it's all you can afford, buy it, and at least you'll know.

If your face is even the slightest bit dry then your screwed with this foundation. If its too greasy then it wont stay put. Plus if you're between shades like me you end up looking either orange or like a ghost :) ... well that's the bad points.

The best thing to do would be try before you buy, see if any of your friends have it etc... hope this helps xx

I am really impressed with this foundation. I wasn't expecting much from this as I had been disappointed by Maybelline on numerous occasions and all the hype surrounding mineral make-up made me wary. But I couldn't resist the temptation to give this a try due to all the claims of make-up being good for skin and free from preservatives, perfume, talc and oil.
I got this in Vanilla Rose and was quite surprised to find that it matches my skin tone extremely well. Not too dark, not too light and no orangeness- a definite plus. The coverage this foundation provides is superb considering it is a loose powder. Very easy to blend and build coverage without a heavy or powdery finish. It leaves skin semi-matte, evens skin tone and looks natural. It doesn't cover imperfections completely but blurs them, and I find that it reduces redness really well. I have oily skin and had accepted that no foundation would leave me shine-free at the end of a long day. This is the exception. Ok, so I'm not 100% shine-free, but my skin does not appear greasy, but more dewy- very happy with this. The foundation is very light on skin, and I frequently forget I'm wearing this! I haven't suffered from any breakouts or irritation but I'm not going to risk sleeping in make-up, even if it's mineral.
I apply this with a large powder brush in circular motions over my whole face. I don't use the kabuki brush it comes with because I find it too stiff and too small for applying over a large area. But I think it can be useful for building coverage in small problem areas on the face.
The foundation itself comes in a circular container with a sift and a twist lid. You gently tap or shake the container so that some of the foundation goes through the sift. I swirl my brush on the sift then tap any excess powder on the lid. The issue I have with the packaging is that if the container is shaken too violently, quite a large amount of product comes thought the sift and it can become messy. This is why it may not be practical to be carried in a bag.
I cannot compare this with another mineral foundation as this is my first, but I would recommend this to others who, if like me, are new to the world of mineral make-up. Great for wearing everyday and the SPF 15 helps to back up my facial sunscreen. One of Maybelline's best products.Has anyone tried Maybelline Mineral Powder Foundation?

It also inlcludes a mini kabuki brush which is nice and offers even coverage of the product, but it can be a bit harsh for those with sensitive skin. If your skin gets irritated real easily, opt for a fluffier powder brush or a bigger kabuki brush that will be much softer to your skin and will apply the product just as well. Overall I give this product 4.5 out of 5 stars because it also tends to dry the skin a bit if your skin tends to be flaky and dry, but it can be fixed by applying a moisturizer before applying the foundation. Hope this helped!

when it comes to foundation, it's worth it to spend a little more. foundation is the biggest thing that can ruin your entire look by being cakey, gross, and fake, so it's definitely a good idea to buy the good stuff. i would recommend lancome, mac or raw/bareminerals
